The people behind the care

A family that treats yours like family.

A close-knit, family-run practice. The same friendly faces year after year, the ones who know your pet by name.

Dr. Lynne Sandifar, DVM, owner of Gulf Coast Veterinary Hospital

Dr. Lynne Sandifar, DVM

She followed her dream of caring for animals all the way to her own hospital.

Originally from Indiana, Dr. Sandifar earned her Bachelor of Science from Fort Hays State University in 1990, then her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University.

After building her experience at Ashland Terrace and Biloxi Animal Hospital, she opened Gulf Coast Veterinary Hospital in 1999 and has worked side by side with her daughter Tisha ever since. Off the clock, she's fur-mom to Ruby the Blue Heeler, five cats, and an African Grey parrot.
